Metanius beta
Hace unos meses puse en beta una aplicacion (hecha en Ruby) para generar una nube de tags de acuerdo al contenido de los rss de algunos diarios de Argentina. La aplicacion inicialmente se llamo Zeitgeist (por Google Zeitgeist), y hoy la renombre a Metanius (una deformacion de “meta news“). Aunque por ahora el algoritmo que uso para generar los tags no devuelve los resultados esperados, se aproxima bastante.

File Binary Search
I’ve created a small ruby gem for doing binary searches on a file. The gem is named (not surprisingly) BinarySearch RecordSearch
After announcing the gem on Ruby Talk (here is the announcement), I’ve been told there is already a project with the same name (http://raa.ruby-lang.org/project/ruby-bsearch/), so I renamed it as RecordSearch.
Migrating…
I began the migration from the old site to Wordpress powered one. The two sites will coexist until the migration is done.
The migration has finished. Although there is no link to the old site, the content still exists.. If you really want to see it, ask google for help.
